Belgian National Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC) participates in the IEEE WIFS 2021 to present the UNCOVER project

The Belgian National Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC), a partner of the UNCOVER project, acts alongside the Belgian Ministry of Justice as the central authority on forensic research. They participated as a Keynote speaker at the 13th IEEE International Workshop on Information Forensics and Security that took place on December 7 – 10, 2021, in Montpellier – France, and he spoke about Machine Learning Security based on Forensic Security and Information Security.

The presentation provided an overview of various problems and solutions related to reliable forensic recovery of multimedia data and were able also to present the UNCOVER project.

WIFS is the primary annual event organized by the IEEE Information Forensics and Security (IFS) Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. It aims to bring together researchers from relevant disciplines to discuss challenges, exchange ideas and share the state-of-the-art results and technical expertise in the areas of information security and forensics.
