UNCOVER Project Holds its Consortium Meeting in Amsterdam

The UNCOVER project, which aims to develop a framework for uncovering hidden data in digital media, held its third consortium meeting in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from January 22 to 25, 2024. The meeting brought together representatives from 22 partners from 9 European countries, including law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and research institutes.

The meeting was an opportunity for the consortium to share the achievements, challenges, and plans for the future of the project. Some of the highlights of the meeting were that the project coordinator, presented an overview of the project’s progress and deliverables, as well as the feedback from the European Commission; the project partners showcased their work on various aspects of the project, such as steganography tool collection and analysis, detector development and evaluation, platform design and integration, training package development and dissemination, and ethical and legal issues; the project partners also discussed the challenges and solutions related to the project, and also planned the next steps and actions for the project, such as preparing for the final outcomes and ensuring the sustainability and exploitation of the project results.

The meeting was a fruitful and productive event, where the partners exchanged their experiences and achievements, and aligned their vision and actions for the final phase of the project.
